Each African tent style bungalow is creatively decorated and equipped with comfortable furniture and complete bathroom facilities. These "chic" canvas walled hotel suites come with most of the comforts found in hotels today. Wake to a continental breakfast with an opportunity to meet and greet one of the many "Wild Things" of Monterey Zoo. In the afternoons, guests will enjoy visiting with the facility trainers on their evening walks with a zoo ambassador animal [weather and animal(s) permitting]. With your reservation, you'll receive a free day pass to the Monterey Zoo, and special discounts on their interactive tours.
VIEWING DECKS
Community viewing decks are now available for bungalows that do not have a deck view of our Savannah Play yard. The viewing decks are a short walk from all bungalows and actually closer to the animals than all other decks/viewing areas.
PRICING
Rates range from: $350.00 - $550.00 +tax nightly double occupancy, depending on season, day of week, and choice of bungalow. Additional rates/charges of $60/person are charged for third and fourth occupants, including children. There is absolutely no more than four people allowed in any one bungalow. Arriving with additional people beyond your reservation and our accommodation rules will result in your being unable to stay with us and loss of total reservation costs. You are fully responsible for the room you choose having a bed size and count that accommodates your needs based on the descriptions of the bungalows. LOCATION
All bungalows have an incredible view of the Salinas Valley and/or the surrounding mountain ranges from all directions on their decks.
You'll be just minutes from several of Monterey's finest restaurants, Cannery Row, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, the 17 Mile Drive, Laguna Seca Raceway, Old Town Salinas, the Salinas Rodeo Grounds, the Steinbeck Center and much more. We are also minutes from some of Monterey County's biggest events to include the Salinas Rodeo, the Salinas International Air Show, the Pebble Beach Concourse, the Concorso Italiano, the Pebble Beach Golf tournaments, and more. For those auto enthusiasts, our facility is paved in a fashion which will allow you to enjoy our B&B without ever having to drive your special automobile off pavement. The entire facility is protected within a gated community, all its own.
