Located on the Vision Quest Ranch property, Monterey Zoo offers a variety of “full-contact” tours that enable visitors meet and greet some of the animals, up close and personal. The zoo staff takes great pride in sharing the animals in a fun, exciting, safe and educational fashion, while sharing a very conservation message at the same time. The directors of Monterey Zoo feel that “the best way for anyone to grasp the magic and tremendous value of any animal is to allow the animals to share that magic themselves…”
