"Jacob" Male African lion

Yet another newcomer to Wild Things in Winter of 2002.  Jacob is a distant relative of  our beloved Josef so our fingers are very crossed on his personality. So far, he's been a perfect gentleman and we could not be happier.

       "Kolar"& "Kali" Bengal tigers

Kolar is probably the most professionally photographed tiger in the industry today. His photos (as well as Josef 's) have graced the covers of most Big Cat Calendars since 1991. Kolar works completely loose in close proximity to talent in almost any environment. This is one great working tiger ! Trained behaviors include: marks, runs, walks, jumps, jumps over camera, lie down, and much more. Kali is Kolar's sister. She is a bit shy but she does travel and can be used for a cage cat or background. Her sole purpose at Wild Things is to be company for Kolar.

Credits for these two : Big Cats Calendars, Jungle Book CD ROM, National Geographic Magazine, Exxon and Esso,*Animal planet Intro, BORN FREE the series, and more...

"Chui" male spotted leopard

Another favorite amongst professional photographers, Chui is yet another one of our most gifted cats. He is incredibly safe near talent and works well in most environments. Chui has traveled all over the country, to include Hawaii. Chui is with out a doubt, one of very few great working spotted leopards in the industry.

"OZ" male spotted leopard

Yes, another newcomer to Wild Things. 12 weeks old as of Feb 2003, Oz comes to us from a breeder in Kansas. Our hope is that he will grow up to be 1/2 the leopard Chui has been and give Chui some time off.

wish list

Growing Older - Summer of 2003, Oz is still a great handling cat with everyone.

Kgosi visiting our B&B guests 9/2001

Rob and Barbara Dicely have two new arrivals from Africa to help them continue their tremendous educational efforts with their company, Leopards Etc., and the Cheetah Conservation Fund. They've only started training but they're both doing fine, especially Kgosi.

We feel extremely fortunate to have friends like the Dicelys who allow us to include such special animals with our family and allow us to participate in their training and lives. From what we've seen so far, these two are destined to be great cats and wonderful friends.
